James Sanford has always been someone who grasps an opportunity with both hands. Whether mowing lawns, talking his way into an Apple store to meet Steve Jobs, or closing business deals, his entrepreneurial spirit has served him well over the years. And this can especially be seen in his current company, Teamspring Technologies, that's dedicated to helping businesses across North Georgia "spring forward" by providing them with complete technology solutions.

For the Love of Technology

Growing up, James always had an entrepreneurial spirit. "I used to collect seashells at the beach and sell them for a small profit. Eventually, I started making money mowing lawns, which I used to buy candy and [then] sell to the kids at school," James recalls. "I've always been someone who wanted to support myself." And this entrepreneurial vision soon mixed with his passion for technology that was ignited in the early 1980s by the introduction of the Commodore 64. James explains: "I remember playing games on the new system, copying the programs onto floppy discs, and selling them to my friends. But I got in trouble when my parents found out, and that was the end of that." Though he was barred from selling pirated floppy discs, this was just the beginning of his technological journey.
